Chocolate Raspberry Brownies

 

Chocolate Raspberry Brownies

Melt together and set aside:

2/3 Cups shortening
4 squares (4 oz.) unsweetened baking chocolate

Beat:

4 eggs Add:

2 Cups sugar
1 Cup flour
½ tsp. salt
Melted chocolate mixture
1 tsp. vanilla
1 10 oz. package of Hershey's chocolate-raspberry chips
1 Cup chopped nuts (optional)

Bake in greased 13"x9" pan at 350° for approximately 30 to 35 minutes.
