MIS now offers residential DSL in many communities where Verizon is the local phone service provider. If your local phone service provider is not Verizon, we will not be able to supply you with DSL at this time. Standard Service Fee: $34.95 per month
Service includes:
Dedicated 24/7 connection
Increased speed and throughput
Four MIS email addresses
20 Mb of server space
Standard Installation Fee:
$75 MIS setup fee (effective 05/01/04)
This fee is waived if the customer performs the installation with MIS provided kit.
$50 Basic Equipment Fee: Waived if one year service agreement is signed
Package includes:
DSL modem with DHCP server
Two single-line phone filters
All necessary cables for connecting one computer to the service.
Some installations may require additional items including line filters, routers and hubs. These can be supplied at an additional cost. MIS does not install network cards in computers, nor does the company run wiring, do any work on electrical or phone cables, or install wall jacks. Please make sure that you have these items in place and functioning properly before requesting service.
PLEASE NOTE: Although there is no fee charged by the phone company for any accounts that cancel service within one calendar year from the date of installation, you are required to return the modem and all of the equipment that was delivered in the original package. Customers interested in seasonal service should contact our DSL Coordinator for more information.
