• April 28, 2005 3:30pm. Midcoast.com email addresses starting with the letter z have been moved to an upgraded email server.
• April 26, 2005 11:00am. A 5-10 minute outage is possible for users in Camden who utilize the Wayfarer Marine repeater while a speed upgrade is taking place.
• April 22, 2005 2:00pm. A second incoming email server has been added for @midcoast.com addresses. This should result in no immediately noticable changes.
• April 18, 2005 10:30am. Tommy's Island wireless customers will be out of service for about ten minutes for an upgrade.
• April 15, 2005 11:00am. We are replacing the server for Downtown Camden wireless at this time. This should take about 30 seconds. Some customers may need to reboot their firewalls if restoration of proper service is not immediate.
• April 13, 2005 10:50am. The server for downtown Camden wireless has been rebooted to correct a speed issue and this caused an outage for about 2 minutes.
• April 4, 2005 8:35-8:45am. One of the 6 pop3 email servers for midcoast.com had a problem during this time. This affected email checking for some customers while it was being fixed.
• March 28, 2005 New phone numbers to replace the 1-500 number system are available. The numbers are here sorted by either town or exchange. Please let MIS know if you have any trouble with these numbers or need assistance making the change. Pick a number from the list that is local from your location. We don't yet have numbers for Washington/Liberty so those customers should not change at this time.
