• December 30, 2006 1:41am. There appears to be a problem on Ragged Mountain that affects many customers. It appears to be a power outage, however we will continue to investigate. Update: The snow making process at the Camden Snow Bowl shorted out the powerlines and caused a line surge that destroyed our battery backup system. In the late afternoon JP hiked his way to the top of the mountain to restore service and all is well. MIS will be installing a new power system in the near future to prevent events like this from having effects on us.
• December 29, 2006 @lincoln.midcoast.com users who use non-tidewater area numbers are having a problem logging in via dialup today. This is due to an upgrade and we are working on the problem. This was fixed at about 5:00pm.
• December 27, 2006 11:40am. Customers who utilize Ragged Mountain are having a problem at this time. We think it is interference related and we are working on a workaround. This was fixed by 2:00pm.
• December 27, 2006 11:40am. There is an internet connection problem affecting most customers. This was fixed in about ten minutes with a reboot of our main router.
• December 26, 2006 In other DSL news, the Tidewater Telecom area seems to be without DSL. JP and Paddy are working to get it fixed. (UPDATE) Tidewater determined they had a UPS that was without power from about 5:30am to 8:45am today.
• December 26, 2006 Welcome back to work after Christmas! Some Camden area DSL users are down this morning. It only affects those Camden users who are on the "Copper Mountain" equipment at the Camden phone C/O. We're on it.
• December 18, 2006 6:00am-7:00am. There will be a system update during this time which will affect many broadband Wireless users and Tidewater area DSL customers. Update: This sytem update went as planned. All should be fine at this time.
• December 12, 20066:00am-7:00am. There will be a system update during this time which will affect many broadband Wireless users who point to the Knox County Courthouse while this takes place.
• December 1, 20065:00am-6:00am. There will be a system update during this time which well affect many broadband Wireless and Dsl users. This will affect many wireless locations such as: Monhegan, Wiscassett, Squirrel Island, Isle of Springs, Westport, Union, Hope, Waldoboro, Bath, North Haven, Benner Hill, part of Islesboro, Metinic, Matinicus & Edgecomb sites. All Tidewater Telecom & Lincolnville Telco area DSL customers will be out service during this time as well.
