- July 26, 2005 6am. Tidewater area DSL issues, which we
thought were resolved last night, returned about 6am this morning. Some
people have called to say their service is down again this morning. DSL
Coordinator is working on getting the problem resolved. UPDATE
This problem has been corrected. DSL customers who are still down
should contact us.
- July 25, 2005 Some people have reported a busy signal on the
new numbers. During the afternoon, we installed more modems to prevent that
from happening in the future.
- July 25, 2005 8am. There seems to be an issue with a
particular T-1 that feeds Tidewater area DSL customers. Paddy, Chip, and
JP are on it, and we've been in contact with Tidewater Telecom too.
UPDATE 12 noon. Most affected customers are now back up and
running. Those that are still offline should re-start their DSL modems
and firewall/routers. If you're still having problems after a re-start,
please contact
us.
- July 16, 2005 12 noon - 12:15pm. The webserver
froth.midcoast.com which houses some of our Virtual Domain customers
went down for an unscheduled reboot to repair a webpage loading issue.
All should be fine now.
- July 15, 2005 A newletter was sent out. A copy is here.
- July 13, 2005 10am. Tidewater DSL cutomers are experiencing
loss of connectivity due to programming issues at the phone company.
They're working on it, and claim it will be fixed within the hour.
- July 9, 2005 9:00-10:15am. A problem occured with one of our
access points in downtown Camden. This affected a small amount of
customers. The problem is believed to be located and fixed. We will keep
an eye on it.
- July 7, 2005 9:55-10:15am. Thomaston wireless customers will
experience a short outage while we upgrade an antenna in Thomaston.
- July 4-5, 2005 Wireless customers using Tommys Island
experienced slow performance during this time. On the 5th, the problem
was repaired. This repair caused a short outage from 10:30 to 11:15am.
- July 1, 2005 5:05-5:10pm. We are experiencing a problem with
our main internet connection and the router is being rebooted during
this time.
