being performed.
- July 24, 2006 6:30pm. A problem has been found on North
Haven which is affecting the speed of wireless customers. One of the
Access Points on the Water tower have failed. This should not be causing
an outage, but most everyone will notice a slow down while the other
access points pick up the slack. We will be working promptly to get it
fixed on Tuesday.
- July 19, 2006 Power is restored to most locations. Some
equipment was also damaged and replaced at some locations. Quarry Hill
in Camden, and the Islesboro school are still without service and we are
working on them.
- July 18, 2006 3:45pm. Our Clary Hill, Barret Hill, Hatchet
Mountain, Ragged, Glen Cove, Rockport, Camden, and now Islesboro

power due to an electrical utility outage.
- July 11, 2006 8am. Our 1-500 numbers don't seem to be
answering this morning. We're looking into it. This is a good chance to
remind you, though, that the 1-500 numbers are destined to be
disconnected. Please move over to the new local
numbers. Update: 10:00am. The problem has been corrected by
restarting our phone switch.
- July 6, 2006 8:05-8:40pm. Dialup, Camden area wireless,
and Verizon area DSL were out of service during this time. This problem
was caused by a failed UPS that powers some of our fiber optic
equipment in our Rockland datacenter. The UPS has been replaced and
things are back to normal.
